@KamalaHarris Well, actually, if we are talking average, spending on childcare ‘might’ be a personal choice for parents (assume we exclude single parent situations)…. So “need” is not the right term or perspective. Actually, it might be better to have a parent home…? What’s the data there?

The average American family has to spend 13% of their income on child care—assuming they can even find quality care in their area. We need to invest in families by lowering the cost of care in America.

Doug and I grieve for the Americans we lost, we pray for the Americans injured in the attack, and our hearts go out to their loved ones. We also grieve for the Afghan civilians killed and injured.

Today in Kabul, a terror attack killed 13 American service members. These courageous service members died while saving countless lives. They are heroes.
