“Anglo-saxon for Shard End is ‘atte Sherd’ or ‘at the gap’ – a fitting name for the chasm Bham's bankruptcy has created in our community. Some councillors fought, but the cuts passed. With the only option now being Judicial Review, I long for my art to aid in the next steps.”

About making their films, Red told us: “From masonic hall to free library, Harborne is rich in history and as tough as its nail makers. One of only four Birmingham libraries facing relocation, it needs our fight. I hope my art hammers home the message: our library stays.”
