@Better_Reading @PellikaanConstr From next Mon, 25 April, work to refurbish the existing stadium, including interior improvements, a new roof & windows, will begin. This work will necessitate the closure of the gym, indoor sports facilities & spectator stand until the opening of the new facilities in late 2022.

We are excited to show the latest progress photos of the new Rivermead Leisure Centre @ReadingCouncil . Everything is beginning to take shape: the first slab pour of 160 m3 of concrete to the sports hall floor, the lift shaft base and the excavation of the diving pool.

We have some great new progress photos from Palmer Park, @ReadingCouncil . The steel structure is almost completed and the sprayed pool has received the last concrete wagon. We are ready to start up the first floor and roof before the end of this month!

This year we will celebrate our 75th anniversary. In 1947, founder Henk Pellikaan received his very first order: a project of 40 residential houses in Oosterhout (NL). Thanks to the insight and innovative character, we have grown into an international company!

Amidst the whirring sounds of construction, Melksham pupils from the primary schools, council staff, journalists and our colleagues gathered to bury a small piece of Wiltshire history. The items in the capsule included stories, letters, pictures and poems.

The new Carnival Leisure Centre & Library in Wokingham reached its highest point! Representatives of client @WokinghamBC and project manager Faithful and Gould joined Pellikaan in the pool basin. Good thing that it will be a while until there is water in there 😉

New progress photos from the new Carnival Leisure Centre in @Wokinghamboroughcouncil! As the steel structure is completed, the works to the elevations are progressing well. The first elevation frames are installed together with the glazing and the roof is getting completed. 💪🏽

Last week Gerard Pellikaan was put in the spotlight because of his 50th work anniversary. A special milestone that we did not leave unnoticed. Gerard, congratulations on this fantastic milestone and thank you once again for your inspiration, boundless dedication and involvement!
