@penaltyloop Maybe he will need an operation after the season because I doubt it will go away by itself. So in that case it doesn’t affect his vision but in zeroing he seemed a little bit off.

@polinnaaz Yeah you got the English right! He breezed right by our area of the interviews because he had to get to something else. But he flashed is sunglasses up to show somebody and it looked quite swollen

@penaltyloop Yes, I don’t know if I’m writing right on English but he has a stye. He is not saying anything about this in his interviews. I was worried that this will affect his shooting because its huge stye.

🇳🇴 Lægreid said that early in the season he twice tried to push through sickness and ended up in a hole. Only when using January to rebuild could he start to find his form. Now he feels like he could continue this. Said he looks around and everybody else is more tired #biathlon

🇳🇴 Lægreid was very generous with his time today. I asked him about how long he could keep up this level of form. In an answer that has to be a little scary for his opponents he said he’s actually not sure. He’s not really feeling too tired right now #biathlon

@polinnaaz Emilien is showing amazing form lately: 4, 🥉, 12, 13, 9, 2, 2, 2 Back to 6th Overall. Really fun to see. And I don’t know if he mentioned it in interviews but I think he’s a little sick too. Looked like maybe an eye infection?

Said tomorrow he wants to try to link up with Sebbe, Vetle, Isak, Botn, Nawrath etc and have them pull him around the course 😂

The strategy by the way was planning to go easier on lap 1 because he knew the track would degrade and it would allow him to have the legs to push in the sloppier snow on laps 2&3. He was really happy to have the legs for that solid 3rd lap where he was 8th fastest #biathlon

🇺🇸 Had a long chat with Campbell after his race today. Specifically talked about his final lap. He was irritated with the 2 misses calling it the “classic Campbell” to go 0+2. But he was happy with his race plan and racing strategically. He’s excited for tomorrow! #biathlon

🇺🇸 Campbell, in perfectly Campbell fashion, just minutes before his start time skied down the hump before the finishing stretch, jumped the blue barriers and rolled right up to the start queue. Went on to have the 10th best ski time. Only Campbell #biathlon

🇦🇹 Today, long after the other athletes were gone, Simon Eder stopped to chat with 2 guys from North America. He seemingly would have stayed all night. It was an honor to spend the time with a true hero who has been in my biathlon life for 20 years. Thank you Simon!!! #biathlon

🇺🇸 US Men finish in 7th in the Nations Cup. They easily qualified for 5 starters next season which is a huge win. But it’s also the best finish by the men since 2016. Armin Auchentaller, Jake Brown, and Paul Schommer going out strong 💪! Big shoes to fill! #biathlon
