Penicuik Petanque

thanks to norham petanque club who made us very welcome yesterday.despite some close games we won our very first league match 5-1.well done team. john mcallister,colin stewart,bob mcdonald,tom mckenzie and mike goldsmith

another good day today,some good games played and now looking forward to our first ever league game tomorrow at norham pc.

a good turnout for our first thursday night games,including another new member.also our club will be playing in our first league match at norham on sunday.

as the nights are getting lighter we will be starting our thursday night games from 6.30 pm this week.hope to see you there

as part of the inverleith pc team i have qualified to play in the euro cup for clubs in august.the games where close but we edged out perth by 19 points to 12.thanks also to carnoustie pc for hosting we had a great day.

Due to edinburgh derby and holidays there will not be a club day today.

to anyone coming to penicuik petanque piste from edinburgh by bus,bus numbers 15,37 and 101 stop at the craigiebield hotel which looks on to our piste.
