Thank you to Wendy, Jennifer and Colin from @ELCouncil for coming down today. It was great to open the park and see it come together from consultation with our community (including our services) to delivery. It’s so nice seeing kids laughing and enjoying themselves 🤩

The Pennypit Park Play Area in Prestonpans is open following a renewal project. Councillor Colin McGinn visited today (Thursday, 12 March) along with local school pupils, staff from The Pennypit Trust, and members of our Amenity Services team. More info: orlo.uk/FmZJa

Pops Group Cook-Off 🍳🔥 From chopping to plating… they really showed up and showed out. Along with learning key life skills they made a variety of tasty food including burgers, steaks, pasta, nachos and honey chicken. Safe to say nobody went home hungry! 😮‍🔥🍔🥩

A little break from Festive provision once again… On Friday we had a lovely drop-in at Prestonpans Community Centre from four amazing @RosehillHS pupils — Fallyn, Lacey, Amy & Jessica. Through their YPI project won £3,000 for the trust. We’re so grateful for their hard work 🤩

A massive thank you to Alexander Brown for his donation of Snoozlewoosh Books for our children and Hit Me Books for our socially isolated this festive provision. Your unwavering support for the Pennypit Trust is much appreciated ❄️ #HealthyHappyChristmas
