Went to buy food and there was a large number of Chowdeck riders parked outside the restaurant as they usually do. I could just see the flash of recognition in their eyes that continued to follow me all the way. Cold ass stares. And no it's not just in my head. Every time I step out several Chowdeck riders stop me to either commiserate or inquire or question me. I record and document these encounters because it will definitely be said to be in my head otherwise. Likely every Chowdeck rider in this axis knows me, this issue, and my home address, which are all likely being passed around in their networks. I am definite it's not safe for me to live in this place anymore, and I'm just not going to feel safe if I do.

I also get the beejezus scared out of me when I walk on the road. It's like one never realized how much damage all these speeding vehicles can do. Who came up with the concept of cars and bikes driving on the road with fragile people walking alongside? 😭 And the horns are like heres a jolt for the auditory senses, in case the sight of it all wasn't enough. But hey, breathe. You fractured your spine, not your balls.

Hurts if I walk, sit or stand for longer than I apparently should. Which doesn't seem to be a lot. More physiotherapy recommended, and an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon in two months.

If you asked me how I am and I haven't responded, it's because I honestly don't know. Physically, the orthopaedic surgeon said there's calluses in my spine or something (good thing because it means healing, new bone formation). But inside, I mean inside my head, I'm not sure.

Yesterday was the eight weeks anniversary of my accident where I fractured my spine and have been healing since. CT scan and appointment tomorrow with the orthopedic surgeon, to see how well that's going.
