1. It's config management time, so here is a thread about configuration languages in IT. Config languages are not unique to IT, they exist in all areas of science and engineering to describe layout or "state".

1. As I work on trust and assessment of semantics, the Promise Theory model of Trust has some interesting things to say about innovation. If we define novelty or innovation as something unexpected (an anomaly based on past experience) then this is inherently untrustworthy. (N=7)

@KrisBuytaert I think the idea the you should be able to do in a general way, without problems, with Terraform for cloud-APIs the same thing as config-mgmt for an operating-system, is kind of flawed. If it was that simple, stuff like k8s cloud controller manager wouldn't be necessary. My 2¢..
