Congratulations @JackDishman I'm extremely lucky to have worked with you. I've collaborated with many devs since 2020, several who are v. talented, but you remain the most intuitive and efficient developer I've ever had the pleasure of shipping with. Your skills made my meager talent more apparent, which is a generous and wonderful quality to possess in this insane, often selfish industry We spent 1 real day together before deciding to spend 5 days building out my loose idea for a new kind of agent, a new kind of launchpad. We worked in my mom's old office, and your dad's spare conference room. I don't think either of us ever expected to co-found a company that would earn >$85m in revenue in under 2 years, and I know that I certainly made choices I'd love to get another pass at throughout that time. my life continues to be shaped by the upsides and downsides that resulted from our work together that week. Sort of insane, magical, how much came from just a handful of days of concerted effort. One thing that was not a mistake was my sense that you were far more dependable and capable than at least everyone else on Farcaster knew. All external and past and human shit aside, Clanker wasn't ever a mistake. Neither was passing over my equity on to you, even if it was painful, even if it I'm not sure it was right - it def was necessary in that moment, and I understand why. I hope that you're able to take some time after all that for yourself, and can find some good woods to walk in or a lil island to boat out to and explore. I'm sure your family is proud of you, I know I'm proud to have worked with you, man. If you're ever interested in shipping some code, hmu, liquid is open for business. We'd be honored. Thank you for always doing right by our old rusty clanker, or more importantly for always trying to do right by all of us. Gg, gl - you killed, now u eat 🫡

I've decided to move on from working on Clanker - there's more I want to build. I'm grateful to the Clanker community for trusting an experiment that had no right to scale the way it did, to the creators who turned attention into funding and reminded me how motivating it is to help people succeed, to the Farcaster community for the feedback loop, and to everyone who deployed, traded, or just shitposted a token along the way. Building this taught me what it actually takes to make something people care about and operate systems at scale. Whatever comes next, I'm leaving with sharper instincts and a better sense of the kinds of problems and people I want to spend my time around.
