Time to grill some hatch.

Finally picking superhots. RB003 and ghost.

Pretty dang big Jalapenos this year. Megatron variety. Fairly mild but good flavor.

@fxbgHOT Sounds like a solid plan. I’ve got more non-heat and milds planned this season than ever before.

Obviously not gonna happen this year (too late). I'll also probably keep it to 6-12 varieties (I was growing 20+ at my peak). I will stay away from super-hots (Cayenne to Habanero heat is admittedly my territory). I need to get a new camera with a good macro function.

@PhillipsHabaner @fxbgHOT I typically put 2-4 seeds per pot. Just in the center and separate them out later on.

@fxbgHOT Do you put than one seed in each square? If so how many and how do you position them? 🌶️🌶️🌶️

That time of year again.

Replacing a couple of the rotting beds with something a bit longer lasting. One more to go tomorrow.

The garden is now done for the season. Last harvest of 2024.

Closed up much of the garden this weekend but still have a few plants cranking out peppers.

Not too bad for later September. Lots of unripe pods still on the plants.

Not sure if it’s the lack of rain all Summer, but here is the first real harvest of the season. Can’t believe it’s the end of August.

I’m not gonna lie… these Peach Miasma got me a bit scared.
