Senator Alan Peter Cayetano challenged the Senate Minority for allegedly focusing on politics than the Senate shooting that happened in the evening of May 13, 2026.
"Mas importante sa inyo ang 2028? Mas importante sa inyo ang senate presidency? Kaysa sa buhay ng mga kasamahan ninyo," Cayetano said in his Facebook livestream today, May 15, 2026.
Cayetano alleged that a change in Senate Presidency will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026. As of publishing, the Senate minority has yet to react to Cayetano's statements.
