18 Narra trees can be found in our street alone here in Mandaluyong. This time every year I look forward to their flowers blanketing our street yellow. Today I just saw another big one behind our studio office (still in the same baranggay!)

When you cut down trees as thick as that, you can’t bring them back to life anymore. You can’t regrow them. It takes trees decades and centuries to grow to reach that girth. And older trees actually give off more oxygen than young ones.
DENR needs to be audited.

HELP OUR LOCAL FARMERS! 🙏
Farmers from Benguet resorted to selling cabbages for P10 per kilo by the roadside, as they deal with an oversupply of their harvested crops.
Uploader Dada Raquepo spotted the farmers along Naguilian Road in Sablan, Benguet, around 4:50 PM on Thursday, hailing passersby and motorists to buy their cabbages.
"Driving down from Baguio to La Union po, I saw them. Oversupply daw and sayang kaysa itapon,” she told The Philippine STAR.
Raquepo shared that Benguet farmers decided to travel to La Union to sell cabbages at a lower price, adding that she plans to buy from them again.
“Kanina po may nagbebenta dito sa San Fernando. Next week, Wednesday, nagpa-saklolo na rin sila for subsidy of gas from helpful people, and by Wednesday, meron ulit bababa na truck sa La Union to sell again at P10/kg. Ako po, bibili ako sa Wednesday ng 350 kg at ipapamigay namin sa fur parents community pantry,” she shared. (Photos courtesy of Dada Raquepo)

Not everything is about politics. There's also a time and place for that. May divide na nga sa music community because of fan war and infusing politics here will make it more divisive. This is just me but I can only wish for to not use your stan tweet to express your political stance. I would prefer you use your personal account. Because whether we like it or not, the artists you support will be associated with your political leaning and sadly nadadamay sila. Don't get me wrong, I want them to be vocal too, and they are, but can we just let them be vocal about issues? Nagagawa naman nila. Don't speak for them as if you really know their preferences and choices. Should they disclose it publicly or keep it lowkey or to themselves, it's their right in as much as they respect yours. So please, be mindful.
