If Ben White had a holographic leg, the ball would not have hit his hand. By definition it clearly changed direction. The desperation to justify the incompetence is embarrassing
Dale Johnson@DaleJohnsonBBC

Was underlined to me today that if *the ball comes off the body without clearly changing direction" then a penalty is expected. That would be considered the case in both penalties this week, and both will be considered to be correct by the authorities.

@AM93_21 Different muscle groups maaaayn. Hip thrusts are a problem but trust me they’re a game changer. Same as adductor/abductor machine. Just gotta go gym when it’s quiet 😂

@SkySportsNews ‘I’m not having the fatigue reason, EFL clubs play 46 games’ *10 seconds later* ‘We ran out of steam with about 8 games to go’ An idiot, everyone.

"I'm not buying the fatigue reason, EFL clubs play 46 games and all the cups" Charlie Austin does not agree with the argument that Arsenal are suffering from fatigue as they compete on two fronts 🔴

Kudos to Manchester City for freezing ticket prices following consultations with fans. Shows the importance of engaging with fans’ networks like City Matters. Kudos to @BroadstockLee @citymattersreps @WeAre1894. City have listened to fans which not enough clubs do. City are a wealthy club, it’s good PR, but it’s also the right thing to do. Fans bring the noise, the atmosphere, the mood boosts for players. Fans bring the backdrop that TV pays billions for. Clubs should show respect to fans and be measured in ticketing policies, especially given economic pressures on fans. City say they have “taken the approach in recognition of the extraordinary accumulated impact of the current cost of living pressures on fans and their families”. Still issues like those loyal fans being moved to accommodate corporates (club currently emailing fans of details). But, overall, City deserve praise. The introduction of 4,000 “Flexi-Season Tickets”, with 50% ringfenced for juniors, should definitely be welcomed. They are the future. Simplifying the ticket transfer policy makes sense and is fairer. “Fans will be able to list up to 18 friends and family, regardless of membership status, and can do this at any point throughout the season if they are unable to attend a match”. Makes it easier to hit the 10 mandatory games. Fans’ group 1894 “welcomes today's announcement from the club which is in direct contrast to other clubs in the Premier League who have been raising their match ticket and season ticket prices. It is undoubtedly a win for the fans and a vindication for the benefits of collective action across the fan base”. Main points of City announcement below... 👇 #MCFC

@AM93_21 Bro. Like what are we doing here? Why does it matter? We’ve had two games since then. Yeah we might bottle it but there’s still 18 other teams in the league that would kill to be in our position 🤷🏾‍♂️

@AM93_21 I dunno. No pressure now, it’s on City. They’ve got the harder fixtures. We had some good chances and on another day we bag (Eze and Gabriel hit post, Martinelli and Havertz chance early second half and then the Havertz header). We’ve thrown it away but it’s not over yet

@pepppyyyy Havertz known for squandering big chances, that's his MO. Unfortunately I can't see you playing like that again this season, when City beat Burnley eventually, the psychological for you guys on the weekend might be insane

@AM93_21 If we play like that rest of the season we’ll win every game. Then it comes down to what City can do. Out of our hands now but can’t fault the performance today. Havertz scores that chance 9/10 their cb gets sent off for that push in any other game. Small margins make a big diff.
