@stefanolson @ryanjaycowan Yeah, that's really interesting. No comparison to FSD, but for those who don't have FSD, It works pretty good in traffic and for basic takeover on long trips. No free version for North America anymore.

@Perfect_Bit @ryanjaycowan Autosteer is still shipped on cars to New Zealand and Australia because FSD is not actually shipped on the cars we receive. But it's awful compared to FSD

After much thought, I have asked Tesla to remove the $10,100 FSD option from my Model Y L invoice. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this, but ultimately for me (as I'm about to take delivery next week) I can't justify the extra cost, even as someone that uses FSD every day (and loves it). The subscription option just suits us better, even if the price goes up. I may regret dropping the opportunity to have one of the last FSD-optioned cars. But selling more Tesla stock also doesn't sit well with me. Time will tell.
