Cuba tengok parut di bahu kiri masing-masing; itu bukti perlindungan anda daripada komplikasi Tibi yang maut seperti jangkitan selaput otak. ​Berbeza dengan Influenza/COVID, kuman TB adalah bakteria yang sangat degil dan boleh mengeram lama dalam badan (TB Pendam). Tumpuan utama KKM kini adalah saringan kontak rapat dan rawatan awal untuk putuskan rantaian jangkitan. ​Rawatan TB memerlukan antibiotik khas yang wajib dimakan setiap hari selama sekurang-kurangnya 6 bulan. Walaupun dah rasa sihat, ubat jangan henti! Jika tak habiskan, kuman boleh jadi aktif semula dan menjadi kuman "TB Kebal" ubat. TB boleh sembuh sepenuhnya. Jika batuk >2 minggu atau susut berat badan, segera ke klinik. Rawatan adalah PERCUMA.
