Today was the first time I truly enjoyed using my own product, although this major rehaul is not shipped yet. Usually you'd build something for others, imagining people using it, but this time I went the extra mile and I caught myself using my own product. Truly a nice feeling eating your own dogfood and being proud of it. More to come in following week, as I have a client deliverable that takes priority - a.k.a pays the bills.

@AtSynct Not tried, or I cannot remember I did - it was years ago and my dad may have tried it. It's fried old bananas I think.. However, you don't hear everyday about frying fruit..

Apparently, my new method of eating bananas is to tear them open rather than peel them.

They told you AI changes the equation, but..here's the thing, to build a product you need to: 1. Research, scope and design it 2. Implementation 3. Testing 4. Review and Iterate ( repeat ) 5. Ship and document (market) You're now at warp speed in 1 and 2, but 3 and 4 still take a significant amount of time, if not even more then before.

Bold take, sits somewhere between good coding review and vibe sessions: First you commit and push, and then you quickly review the changes..your window of review is max 10-20 seconds.

thought I just had, although not entirely comparable due to other factors. We are so against short form content for kids..but then whenever AI gives us a WOT we say "Summarize your response in 2 sentences and a short bullet list highlighting key take aways" We all crave for info that is simpler to digest.

@dhh Humans like familiar repetition (patterns) I think it just requires less brain work / sugar and we're like "yes I think this is okay"

I've noticed lately that I like to work much more in silence, without noise. I know that there is at any moment: - unread emails, notifications - not being on top of it all But then again if I did, the stress of cognitive load would be much higher. So I'm keeping focus on what matters most to my work, and even then I may slip here & there. The power to focus and let go.. who cares about those 10 tabs from last night. Information keeps flowing..there is no inbox-zero, there is only a permutation of priorities. I'm hearing and reading so much each day, but eventually < 10% is truly important to you. This is why the next version of PlainMarkdown.com will help you cut to the gist on each conversion 🌶️🔥

One of the benefits of auto-mode is that you can go to the morning bathroom and come back to a surprise 😍 Don't you love a bit of adventure and "hope for the best" 👍

Exploring a "Fact Check" action that uses web search tool. Pretty interesting, but I do not prefer the boring "thinking" wait time and professional tools out there have a much more engaging progress update.

Exploring a few concepts, curious about this. The source determines the possibilities. E.g "Product Review summarizer for Amazon reviews", "Find Leads on Reddit page"... This is a glimpse of the next major version of PlainMarkdown.com coming out in May

Wow what a small world eh? Thanks for sharing that's quite a story. I love that surrounding though, looks very organized and clean. I remember episode 2, it's the guy who barely survived those chems. If you haven't fully watched it, I can tell you the character development peels pretty good, and Walter goes from stressful teacher to BadAss narco boss mindset. Other characters are good as well. Another movie comes to mind..well many of them. "High Plains Drifter" with C. Eastwood. AI would today replace the part where they build a whole village for the movie set, just to burn it down later, but the acting...

Fun stuff about Breaking Bad: It's filmed in the city where I grew up. * The car wash in the series is actually called "Octopus Car Wash" and my brother dated the daughter of the owner. * In episode 2 ... I think it's episode 2 ... there's a guy who escapes Walter and is limping down a road. There are some large houses in the background and what looks like a very small park (which is indeed what it is) to the left side of the screen. One of those houses belongs (or belonged) to an ex-girlfriend of mine. A lot of time spent there. I actually never could watch much of Breaking Bad because: a) Walter was WAY too intense/stressed-out all the time b) I kept recognizing things from my hometown and kept thinking of my own life experiences as they related to those things instead of the show.

My wife started watching "Breaking Bad" recently, and it's my 3rd time in about 8+ years. That acting though.. I've got a hard time believing AI can fully replace the quality of such shows. Slowing down and genuine native acting is what will save Hollywood.
