@MBTA_CR why is the 7:30am train from Providence so late, and went down a side track to hold us all hostage for like half an hour?! Then going in reverse back a station to switch tracks, and now its stopped again?! Did they just go the wrong way !?!?!?

the price of popular live entertainment is so expensive like I rlly thought back in hs that 400$ for a floor seat was bad 🥲 even if splurging, my budget doesn’t look anywhere near that. and now? its more like 400$ for crappy seats and fees. wish i could see my fav artists 🥲🥲

@MBTA_CR clarifying this requirement at these stations would be appreciated, those who purchase on board have not allocated the time for this and this un communicated change can cause people to miss trains. Especially as I was in the process of purchasing in app and he still blocked me

@persistenhorror The Fare is Fair program in effect at some stations. This ensures that passengers have their fares ready. We suggest purchasing tickets at ticket offices or vending machines at hub stations (South Station & Back Bay) & purchasing tickets on-board when at outlying stations. ^CW

@MBTA_CR so are you just not allowed to buy tickets on the commuter rail anymore? i understand the need to prevent fare evasion but clearer communication would be appreciated for those who routinely take the train and are used to being able to purchase tickets on board

@MBTA_CR I was prohibited from going down to the platform until I proved I had already purchased a ticket at Back Bay Station, maybe you should clarify to those employees.
