The daughter of a company owner fell in love with a Mu$lim boy... She was madly in love and defied her parents' wishes. Feeling helpless, her parents sought the advice of a friend. The friend's family and their family subsequently went on a picnic together. During the picnic, the friend made it clear that she was on the girl's side. She stated that all religions are equal and that the parents should allow the marriage to take place. Consequently, the girl began to view this friend as her pillar of support. Meanwhile, the boy's calls continued to come in intermittently. The friend took the girl aside, handed her a book translated into Marathi, and said, "You are about to marry a Mu$lim boy, so you ought to be familiar with his culture." The name of the book: *Not Without My Daughter* (Marathi Translation) The girl began reading the book at 11:30 PM, and within just a few minutes, she was knocking on her friend's bedroom door. Her eyes were filled with tears. She said, "This is terrifying; I will not marry him." The friend, however, did not alter her stance. She reasoned with her, "Even if the religion is such, is your love true? If so, let's do this: ask him to embrace the Hindu faith, and we will arrange your marriage. I will convince your father." The girl liked this idea and immediately called the boy to convey all of this to him. To this, the boy retorted, "What makes you think I would change my religion for the sake of a 'two-percent prostitute' like you?" His words seared into the girl's ears as if molten lead had been poured into them. She realized—with crushing clarity—her true worth in the eyes of the very boy she loved more than life itself, and for whom she had defied her own parents. She then flatly refused to go ahead with the marriage. List of Key Books: The Kingdom Behind the Burqa – Carmen Bin Ladin From Tehran Prison – Marina Nemat Infidel and Nomad – Ayaan Hirsi Ali Blasphemy – Tehmina Durrani Not Without My Daughter – Betty Mahmoody Lajja – Taslima Nasrin The Last Girl – Nadia Murad These books are absolute must-reads. Secular individuals, in particular, should be encouraged to read these books so that they may come to know the reality. All of these are autobiographies and true stories.

Every Friday our Muslim staff is allowed for jumme ki namaz- extending their official lunch break by 1.5 hours- this is provided by the company. This Eid that clashed with navratra- two days holiday was given for Eid and 0 holiday for navratra- people ended up taking PTO. During Ramzan a lot of our teamworkers who were lagging work wise were given extensions because their energy was “low”. Not the same for navratra. Muslim women in our office are allowed to wear a head to toe burka but Hindu women are looked differently if they have choora, sindoor and a big mangalsutra (called aunties/bhenjis) I have 8-10 more such incidences I can share but these will be enough to understand the difference.

Been in IT for 5 years, and I’ll say this clearly: Muslim men in IT are among the most disciplined, hardworking, and resilient professionals. They stay calm under pressure and consistently deliver at a high level. Their only consistent ask? Time and space for Namaz. And if schedules are tight, they make up for it by staying late, ensuring work doesn’t suffer. In return, companies get people with strong integrity, reliability, and long-term commitment.

During navratra or diwali- we requested non vegetarian be avoided but was not taken in consideration because of others food preferences. In any festival when asked to wear festive clothes they end up wearing black as a collective and usually seem a bit off that day. We cannot discuss sensetive topics (ram mandir) near them in office but they can discuss Palestine and other things during office hours.

Bhatta Ramakantha’s commentary takes it even further, bringing in many texts to support Shaiva practice. What stands out is that the Vedas are never rejected—showing how Shaiva Siddhanta respects both Veda and Agama together. 2/2

Kāmeśvara Śiva is but the perfect reflection of Devī Lalitā Tripurasundarī as stillness mirrors beauty, as consciousness reflects bliss. He is Her echo, Her counterpart, Her own Self gazing back at Her through eternity. Śrī Kāmeśvarāya Namaḥ🥰❤️
