@ClareONeilMP Is their a more useless politician than Clare ONeil? Genuine question, I have seen some useless polies but surely she is by far the most useless deadshit that has been cast upon us.
Young people without the bank of mum and dad, will now have a level playing field.
Taxes don't stop wealth, don't take wealth, it makes it fairer.
You can still make profit, be successful.
You just have to be smarter in investing in productive assets, not lazy capitalist ventures like established property, or exponential share value growth from companies that don't pay dividends. CGT subsidies, paid by working people.
I am yet to meet anyone who is actually impressed by the budget.
Every single person I’ve spoken to has said it is the worst budget in history.
Tell me exactly how any young person is going to create wealth in Australia now?
Nobody can answer that question.

I'll be honest with you. There is no hope for Australia. I just watched sky news interview people on the street, and they all said we should give non-citizens the NDIS and welfare. The country is fucking lost. Sick to death of these putrid woke filth.
@AshPolitik@ausstockchick Fair go? Fuck off. Fair go if you have a made up 'neurospicey' diagnosis or dont want to work, build a business or invest in your own future. These people are economic girly men
Tonight might just go down in history as the day Australia as we knew it ended.
Getting ahead in Australia is about to become twice as hard.
Taking risks, investing, building wealth, the things that used to be encouraged are starting to look like they with come with a penalty.
All to keep the gravy train going while disguised as helping young people.
Disgraceful.

@strangerous10 Housing policy didn’t break housing. Other govt policy did. It’s just convenient to blame investors.
Labour are cooked. They just said bye bye to their handle on this country
Jim Chalmers says when the LNP introduced the CGT discount in 1999, they “fundamentally distorted how investment happens” by “encouraging ppl to pile into existing housing” which pushed prices up & locked young ppl out.💥
The 27-year free ride is finally over. #auspol
@strangerous10 So why doesnt it ONLY apply to houses and not shares in Australian business, which boosts productivity? Because it is a raid and class war. We are going backwards at increasing speed thanks to these dickheads.
@Next_holiday123@ausstockchick Maybe they should figure out a way to better themselves. Equality is not synonymous with justice. Look after yourself you sponging twat.
@ausstockchick Wow so all your points relate to people who have wealth. Eg people who can afford an investment property, people who can afford to invest in the stock market and people who can afford to build their own business
What about the ordinary Australians who can't afford to do that?
If you don’t own an investment property, you likely never will now.
If you have a giant gain on the stock market, your after tax benefit will be eaten away with increased taxes.
If you decide to build a business here and take risks, you’ll be taxed even more.

🚨 Michael Jackson will be Burnley’s interim manager until the end of the season, club statement confirms.
Follows Scott Parker leaving with immediate effect.
I’m sure we have all now seen the footage of Metropolitan rozzers kicking a suspected terrorist in the head, repeatedly, when he was down.
We can all play a part in putting an end to this sort of police brutality. Mainly by not going around stabbing people.
NDIS spending vs Medicare spending in Australia.
Medicare covers 26.5 million people for about 34 billion, NDIS covers 700,000 for approximately 50-52 billion.
@Mon4Kooyong Mon here is desperate to protect the monopoly her and other doctors have. Can't be having people treat other people quickly and cheaply can we? That would never do
The number of adults being diagnosed with ADHD has risen six-fold since 2017, and it has increased by almost a third in the last year alone.
This is largely because of the rise of ADHD-specific telehealth clinics providing quick diagnoses, sometimes based on online questionnaires alone. Where those clinics are also dispensing medication, there are obvious concerns regarding clinical decision-making and commercial incentives.
We need better regulation of telehealth services—it's an under-regulated part of our health system.

@theadelites The European Super League — dreadful idea though it was — was intended to replace or rival the Champions League, not the Premier League. So your basis for your argument is flawed, built on one pretty fundamental (and common) mistake. Apart from that, all good.
5 years ago today Tottenham Hotspur were one of the English clubs who tried to pull the football ladder up from under them, by announcing their involvement in the short-lived European Super League.
Their proposal would have broken the fundamental rule that underpins the national game - that sliver of a dream all fans have, that their team might climb the pyramid and compete with the best.
It seems fitting and ironic that today Spurs sit in the relegation zone having still not won this calendar year.
They tried to leave the Premier League for greener pastures, instead Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of relegation.
And because of their willingness to betray the national game, few fans from ‘the other 14’ will have any sympathy at all.
