@helldivers2 @Helldivers_NOW Maintenance like this is really good. I know a lot of players want to see the major requested updates and features added. But updates like this allow for possible better frame rates which means the possibility for more enemies and things happening on screen. It’s a start

@SmokeFunds I have currently got every weapon to max level besides all the SMGs and let me tell you. It’s miserable, some weapons just feel clean and fun to play with. I have tried others, it’s miserable, not even fun. Wish bushwacker was better though.

Lords of the Fallen II – Important Publishing Update! Independent developer CI Games today announced that it has signed a separation agreement with Epic Games Publishing. As a result, CI Games has regained full open distribution rights for the PC version of Lords of the Fallen II, moving away from the previous PC-exclusive publishing arrangement signed in June 2024. Lords of the Fallen II remains scheduled to launch later this year on PC via Epic Games Store and other PC storefronts, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. CI Games will self-publish the title across all platforms, while PLAION continues as the global physical distribution partner. CI Games will continue to utilise Epic’s technologies, including Unreal Engine 5 and Epic Online Services (EOS), powering cross-platform play, matchmaking, friends list, and seamless shared-progression co-op. Like many in the industry, CI Games faced challenging market conditions in 2023 and 2024, and Epic Games provided significant funding and strategic support that helped ensure Lords of the Fallen II could fully realise its ambitions. This partnership enabled CI Games to meaningfully expand upon community feedback from the original Lords of the Fallen, while substantially advancing the sequel across gameplay, technical performance, world design, and online functionality. “Epic was there for CI Games exactly when we needed them most. Their support and belief in the project made a real difference, and for that we are truly grateful,” said Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games. “Epic has been an outstanding supporter of Lords of the Fallen II. @jb10524565 @Helldivers_NOW First line of defense on battlefield and other planets but would also act as last line for super earth. SEAF is the shield while Helldivers are the spear. When Super Earth is under attack SEAF would be the final line of holding while Helldivers coordinate aggressive strikes.

@pestinox @Helldivers_NOW no, SEAF is the first line of defense. If the enemies invaded a planet this means the SEAF already failed and now needs the helldivers to retake control of the situation so they can secure the planet again

Sony is facing a lawsuit over claims that the company unfairly benefited from PlayStation 5 price increases linked to import tariffs. According to the lawsuit, Sony raised PS5 prices after tariffs were placed on imported goods. These extra costs were reportedly passed on to customers, making consoles more expensive. The legal complaint says the tariffs were later ruled unlawful, which means companies may now qualify for refunds from the government. Plaintiffs argue that if Sony keeps both the higher prices paid by customers and any future tariff refunds, the company would receive what the lawsuit describes as a “double benefit.” The case was filed in a California federal court and could expand into a class action covering many PS5 buyers across the United States.

This generation of PlayStation has been one of the worst in gaming history, and I'll tell you exactly why. Sony has released almost nothing that actually justifies upgrading to a new console — Spider-Man 2 being the one exception. Most people are still playing online games that run perfectly fine on last-gen hardware. If it weren't for that, nobody would have a reason to buy the PS5 at all. Then there's PS Plus — overpriced, underwhelming, and shoved down your throat just to play online. You can't even touch multiplayer without paying them first. A friend of mine couldn't play Split Fiction with me because he didn't have a PS Plus subscription, even though I already owned the game. Think about that. Who actually owns the console here — you or Sony? And the hardware situation is embarrassing. Someone jailbroke a PS5, threw Linux on it, and got performance nearly identical to the PS5 Pro. That tells you everything. The gap between the PS5 and the PS5 Pro is mostly software and AI upscaling tricks — not real hardware. Sony is artificially holding back performance and charging you $1,000 for a console that'll be obsolete in a year or two. And the controller? The DualSense is one of the most expensive controllers on the market and still ships with bad joystick components that wear out constantly. I personally know someone who's bought four of them. This is exactly why switching to PC isn't a luxury — it's a necessity. On PC, you own your games. You play on your terms. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no artificial locks. You want ray tracing? Turn it on. You want higher frames over better visuals? Your call. You want to play a game from 2003 next to a game from 2025? Go ahead. No compatibility issues. No company deciding what you're allowed to run or when. On PC, you don't need an Xbox AND a PlayStation. You don't split your money across multiple subscriptions that give you nothing back. You know exactly where every dollar goes. And speaking of where your money goes — when you buy PlayStation, you're funding a company that has spent this entire generation actively disrespecting its audience. Muscular female leads shoehorned into male-built worlds. Weak, hollow male characters. Beloved IPs gutted to push an agenda. Ghost of Tsushima. The Last of Us Part II — a game that could've been a masterpiece, thrown away to serve an ideology. Sony took "For the Players" as a slogan and spent years doing the exact opposite. I'm done with it. Sony doesn't deserve your money, your time, or your loyalty. The door to PC is open — walk through it.

@Whybother006 @helldivers2 Exo Experts has been out since April 28th. Shy of a month later and its own items still being broke doesn’t seem like much of an expectation if you ask me. If that’s asking too much than AH truly is doomed.

@pestinox @helldivers2 I'm also looking forward to usable lumberer, but you have seriously warped dev cycle expectations if think that would already be fixed. Lumberer FT was a botched buff implementation, not an individual bug to be squished. (FT turret is also broken.) It seems they have tech debt..
