The last time you wore a band t-shirt, which artist was on it?

@MWPutters Same with Michael Jordan. He was a prick, very unlikable, but a killer. Tiger was a killer. Rory is mostly a really nice guy. Hard to balance the “unlikable” against being a nice guy. I find him very likable personally.

Interesting thoughts on Rory. He’s unlikable to a lot of people but he’s not nearly the arrogant prick that Tiger was and none of us (myself included) cared when Tiger was prick. But we most assuredly hate Rors for doing the same shit El Tigre did.

@Espngreeny Get off your high horse. In the same way we hackers love to flush a shot to feel a bit of what the pros do, it’s also kinda fun to see that golf can do that to the best. We’ve ALL felt like that. I find it relatable.

A lifetime exemption is a privilege extended by Augusta to its champions out of respect. If that respect is not reciprocated, there is no law that says a past champ cannot be banned. I’m not sure they should have Sergio Garcia back after the garbage he pulled today. #themasters

@Top100Rick Viewers have complete control over #3. I didn’t watch any of the lead up. Just like I no longer watch the over-saturated pre Super Bowl coverage. Makes the event better.

5 Takeaways from the 2026 Masters: 1: There is no such thing as a “free wheeling” Rory. He wants to not care as much, but he always will. Winning a Masters is never easy. 2: Scottie is still the best hitter of the golf ball and it’s not that close. 3: The Masters is at risk of overexposure for the first time. The Par 3 and non stop coverage and merch hauls and social media is too much. 4. Back 9 pressure is real. The setup wasn’t super hard. No wind. And yet bad shots were hit over and over. 5. Augusta National is the best golf course. The risk and reward scenario is presented here better than anywhere in golf. It’s more strategic than any other golf course that exists.

@rossmacleodputt Agree - with the exception of the money list comps. They didn’t have the massive payouts in the first 2/3 of Phil’s prime. But Rory is an all-timer for sure. Happy for him.

By winning a 2nd green jacket and 6th major Rory possibly clears 2 milestones; 1. Best European golfer of all time (probably was anyway, confirms it) 2. Overtakes Phil?? (Tied in majors but has grand slam. Plus world no1, lots of money list/fedex wins Phil didn’t win).

@PeterFinchGolf Just like when I (10 handicap) flush a shot I get a glimpse of what a great golfer, feels…Seeing the occasional blow up on a bad shot also means even the BEST know the brutal mistress golf can be. I find it relatable, even if I understand the desire to see kept composure.

@ShakeShakti I love both records. Jon had the name recognition and the huge single/movie tie-in. Was naturally going to out-perform Stranger, regardless of which LP was better. Then we got KTF and TD and I was even happier.
