It’s also easy to overlook the progress in 20 over format this year compared to the season before. Having Mir back bodes well for next season in Vitality Blast.

@frankwatson58 definitely silverware for me Frank. The difference between Div 1 and 2 isn’t vast (unlike in football). Looking forward to seeing Lategan in particular develop next season. Always nice to visit other Midlands grounds too.

@braddersatbbc it’s easy to overlook amidst Worcestershire’s troubles this season that they currently have 3 of the top 12 wicket takers in the country. Fair play for their fine bowling application so far - however dead the pitch!

Wayland’s Yard in Worcester might be my favourite cafe in England. Excellent coffee, creative menu, superb food, friendly staff, great vibe, lovely garden and lots of accessible power sockets for charging. Five stars. 👍🏻
