@AllLoveLeeds Whilst I don't agree he should have been sent off. It's interesting that people think a second yellow should have different criteria. I'd argue that it shouldn't.

Leeds Utd should absolutely appeal that second yellow card and sending off of Gudmundsson.

@LewisDeighton17 Yes but why is the criteria for a first and second yellow different? Spoiler, it's not. I don't think he should have been sent off but it's almost more honest as the second yellow 'criteria' isn't even considered. Referee was wrong regardless but an interesting point.

Utterly pathetic. Bramall never shows Gabi a second yellow, he shows him the ‘first’ one for a second time and then has no choice but to make it red after being reminded. Seriously, how does a professional Premier League referee in 2026 forget that he’s already booked a player?

@CarlPonty @SkySportsPL Bijol did, shoulder to the face of a player in order to block their run resulting in a split lip. I don't recall his first yellow.

@fedgilb Filth and Sarr had just tried to get Bijol sent of minutes earlier faking facial injury. Refs don’t help themselves but players are doing their best to make them look shit week in week out. Just ruins what fans all want which is a competitive fair match.

@CarlPonty @SkySportsPL But that isn't what happened is it Carl. Ref gave the yellow and the palace players then told him he'd already been booked. Which he had. A soft second yellow for sure, but it was a foul.

@SkySportsPL The officials were an embarrassment. Ref gave in to Palace players begging for a yellow that wasn't, the the ref instantly realised he'd f••ked up because he hadn't realised it was a 2nd yellow. Yet bottled 2 opportunities to rightfully give Johnson a 2nd card.

@jamesonrgb @SkySportsPL Maybe, and I don't condone the card waving in that situation. Sarr was bleeding though. Had we won it would have been very harsh on Leeds. Anyway, think we can all agree we'd all much rather Spurs, Forest or West Ham to go down before Leeds. 😊

Fair enough to remind the ref it was a second yellow, but the entire team tries to get Bijol sent off previously when Sarr ran into his shoulder and all that pressure bled into the Gudmondsson situation.
