@1701aStarship @laurencyclist I think it’s important to provide the kids with the correct information on road safety and the Highway Code, letting them make their own decisions on the optional aspects rather than just dictating them my opinion, this approach often sparks healthy conversation on the subject

@1701aStarship @laurencyclist I teach bikeability and let the kids know the facts, we wear them for the sessions but it’s not obligatory to wear a helmet on a bike, we also have to wear high viz but again clothing choice is a decision they can make themselves based on weather conditions
