Fort Myers 10/2-10/5 @PG_Tourney #WWBA Too much focus on: ✅$400 custom wood bats ✅$400 custom gloves ✅$100 BG’s ⚡️ ✅$80-$100 sliding mits ✅$200 M Frames ✅👀wash Not enough attention to: ❌ hard 90’s ❌ hop on/off field ❌ getting to 2B on deep pop ups ❌ blocking pitches with 0 runners on ❌ quality throws between innings ❌ strike throwers ❌ controlling the run game (P/C) 🤷‍♂️Part of the culture today - I get it - but playing the game the right way with grit, passion, toughness, Baseball IQ is just missing - and that sells/projects more to coaches at every NEXT level ☑️A BIG 10 Coach said to me: “So we came down here knowing we were going to offer that kid, but you know what I love about him? He just made the last out on that line drive, and he’s the first guy out of the dugout on to the field….immediately fits our culture.” 🗣️Prospects: your travel/hs coaches tell you to do it the right way, your parents tell you to do it the right way, every college coach at every camp you’ve attended tells you the little things matter…..so DO THEM!
