The Bible is a Love Story The Bible is God's love story from start to finish - one that shows how much He wants a relationship with us. It begins with God creating man and woman for intimacy with Him. But sin messed that up. The rest is about how God sets out to fix what got broken. The Old Testament is God pursuing Israel - His chosen people - even when they turn away. He keeps reaching out through prophets and covenants because He loves them so much. The New Testament tells how, in Jesus, God opens His arms to embrace all people. It's the ultimate love letter inviting us back through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. The church is pictured as Christ's bride - building up to this wedding between Jesus and His people for eternity. What a beautiful way to see the Bible as God's testament of love! David Pawson writes on this in “The Marriage of the Lamb”

In the context of you judging the phrase “Choose wisely) , what could be more direct. You would do it with tender care to your loved ones (obviously) , well you shouldn’t judge me if I use a term you use. It works. It’s direct.
