A man just surprised his wife with a new home. It was bigger and nicer than where they were currently staying. He took her for a tour of their new home, as we can see she was very excited about it. Then she finds out that he was able to only get the loan for the house in his name only. Being married she’s still entitled to half if anything happened, however she wasn’t happy about this and insists that he bought the home for her and that it should only be in her name. Her request seemed a little nearsighted and selfish, but does it also raise a red flag about her intentions?

From my fraternity days (20 years ago) these types of couples were very common. The dude has a rich family. It's that simple.
I can't speak for other parts of the country but in the SEC the hot sorority girls are on a mission to lock down the richest guy they can.
One of my fraternity brothers was a few points lower than this guy and married a girl who was always shown on TV during games because she was so beautiful.
He was not tall. He was not in shape. He was not good looking.
But he took her on his dads private jet to away games...
Still happily married with 5 kids living on the lake and jetting around.
