In another episode of things that aren’t a necessity during calving season but make life easier: Shokz, are great for taking calls, listening to music etc. They just made a long night in the calf shed a lot easier listening to @TodayFM Overnight music playlist.

@tomtwine2459 Just to add to that farms over there would be feeding out the silage during the milking season not necessarily during the dry period so they will justify trying to get an extra few % on quality for the price.

@tomtwine2459 We would have used it on 99% of farms in Australia and New Zealand. Tests we would have done with and without didnt seem to show huge difference for cost but its still very much the norm over there. Some very hard to mix compared to others i might add!

Just watching farmflix and I always did wonder why silage additive is nearly the norm in the north but not so much around here, why so?…
