Finally out! Despite Merkel cell carcinoma having a ~40% response rate to immunotherapy, this paper highlights that we still have a ways to go and explores optimal salvage therapies for patients who fall into the category of immunotherapy-resistance MCC.

Day #52: In the weeks since being diagnosed, I've been working on an in-depth story that explores how a small group of researchers pushed a revolution in the way Merkel cell carcinoma is treated -- without a lot of encouragement from Big Pharma.
