I won’t delete or deactivate this account in case things take a positive turn in the future (also I just hate to lose all we’ve done and said!) but I won’t be active here for the foreseeable future. It was a real nice place for a while. Now it’s…not.

Finding yourself stuck in an echo chamber ain’t good. Being forced into someone else’s is even worse. I’m tired of it. Being fed hate, violence, crudity, and cruelty on a constant scroll here has taken a toll. This isn’t fun. This isn’t healthy. This place is so gross now.

-Wayfarers series by Beck Chambers (cozy but thrilling and emotionally profound sci-fi, starting with Long Way to a Small Angry Planet) -Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman (like a role playing video game in real life, super funny and exciting)

Ooo I’ve read some real good ones lately! Recent favs include: -Claire DeWitt series by Sara Gran (existential detective/mystery) -Assassins series by Kōtarō Isaka (quirky exciting series about professional killers for hire) -Reincarnation Blues by Michael Poore (brilliant)
