Avec Aki on a pris un peu d’avance sur la #ClosingCeremony en attendant le vrai passage de relais #Tokyo2020 -> #Paris2024 sur 🌏 dans quelques heures 🇯🇵🤜🤛🇫🇷 With the @Tokyo2020 @Olympics ending today and the next #Olympics to be @Paris2024, @Aki_Hoshide and I held a ceremony

We did it! @aznchew and I are excited to share an early draft of our essay, "Saying the Quiet Parts Out Loud: Teaching Students How Law School Works." privpapers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

@LeanLawStrategy Don't quarrel with what you say, but I really wonder whether 2/4 year degrees will be as common? (Think also outside the United States.)

@LeanLawStrategy Thanks for the comments. I don't see the jobs obtained through certificate training as a dead-end. In part, they will substitute for the many jobs where present lawyers are over-trained. And yes, I assume we will get away from one size fits all training.

Over on Medium, I've posted a brief provocation paper I circulated privately some weeks ago. peterdlederer.medium.com/?p=15e5769fac00. It touches on practice-ready, T-shaped, mass distance learning for law--and points in between! Comments and reactions are welcome!

@LeanLawStrategy I've not been around for the full 100 years (though it sometimes feels like it!), but over the 70 years I've been an observer, things have worsened. I think a lot of people care...but that doesn't mean you're not trapped.
