Work from home. Spend my spare time running around after the kids for basketball and making whiskey.

Help send young Jett on the trip of a lifetime to the USA to play basketball, meet Dyson Daniels and see some NBA games with his fellow Bendigo Braves players. Every little bit helps. gofund.me/ac7db46a

@peterk0578 @onehandpolitics That's correct. BUT Japan did not inform ITS allies of the Pearl Harbour attack. They (Nazis et al.) were famously surprised by the brazen attack. So in effect the question was really retarded.

@4SecondCrypto @onehandpolitics Yes, he's wrong. The guy was asking why allies weren't informed. The US and Japan weren't allies when Pearl Harbour happened. It would only be true if he was asking why the US didn't tell Iran prior to the attack.

@BrickCenter_ Why does he land normally on his right leg, then it all of a sudden kicks out dramatically as he falls over? One of the weirdest landings I've seen.

@drewkerr17 @jones_zamboni Sorry, you're right. It IS a foul... an offensive foul, as the offensive player creates the contact. And he switches hands after the whistle is blown!

@unscannyx I honestly don't care how much they make. They're at the top of their game, so they should try to get as much as they can. From a purely business perspective, the NBA generates over $12b a year. The WNBA generates $250-300m & runs at a loss. The players now take $86m of that.

@TheMiSF68386871 @DanHyattStats Surely if he was stat padding, he'd want to stay in an easy blowout game for more than 25mins? I mean 35-40mins and there's an easy 20+ assists... and could've padded another triple double out. Kinda the opposite of stat padding IMO.

@SwipaCam EDIT: double that second figure. Shams has said the league average will be $600k. That's a MASSIVE jump in operating costs for a league that runs in the red every year.

@SwipaCam A league min of $66k per year, with approx 165-180 players, means they were paying a MINIMUM of $10.9m-$11.9m in player salaries. With this increase, it jumps to $49.5m-$54m. And that's before factoring in that a lot of players are making more than the min. Already run at a loss.

@Stats_N_Facts Seems like Reality Check needs a reality check. MJ walked into a basket case of a club. Virtually single-handedly turned the franchise around through hard work and driving professional standards. The mental gymnastics here is astounding.

MJ is the guy who walked into a fully staffed office with a legendary manager, a proven system & elite coworkers hired specifically to complement him. The infrastructure was built around his success. LeBron is the guy who showed up at 6am because the office was literally empty. No manager, no support staff, no functioning system & half the time he had to train his own coworkers just to keep the place running. He didn’t inherit a well‑oiled machine - he built one everywhere he went.
Marl Kalone@KaloneMarl

Comparing MJ to LeBron is like comparing the guy who got to work at 9am and completed all his tasks by 3pm, with a guy who showed up at 6am and had to work through the weekend.

@Justintohoops Not in a malicious way... he HAD to know it was against the rules & he intended to use it to stop a play. That IS malicious. Maybe the lower end of the meaning of it, but a calculated, illegal move to gain an advantage...

Asked Alex Caruso about his shoe block: "I've never been in that situation before. And, I don't know, it came to me. I just thought I was gonna block it, and I honestly don't know what I thought the call would be. I didn't know it was going to be a goaltending and a tech. If I would've known that, I probably wouldn't have done it because it's three points. It's an automatic bucket, and he didn't even put the ball above the rim. As soon as I had my shoe in my hand, it crept in my mind to use it. Not like in a malicious way, but like 'Let me try to make a play to stop the ball.' It's just one of those weird NBA plays that probably won't happen for like another 10 years."
Justin Martinez@Justintohoops

Alex Caruso just blocked a shot with his shoe. He was called for a foul and given a technical.

@sebeeschin @Justintohoops Were they? It's not a common foul because there's no body contact. He illegally blocked the shot, that may or may not have gone in, with a foreign object. Goal tend seems right.

@Mattys123 Respect the thought process. Not sure Tigers vs Suns is the game to go to though. I'm tipping it could be close to 100pts. You'll get more out of a closer game, although that can be hard to predict, but this doesn't shape up as one.

Thinking of going to Richmond vs GC on Saturday just to see a neutral game live. As pies fans we get so invested in Collingwood games that I don't think we get a clear view of the state of the game. #AFL

@BrickCenter_ After unsuccessfully trying to draw a foul on the right hand drive by hooking the defender's arm with his left arm like he's trying to start a dosey doe. They didn't call that, so he backs out a.d tries again on the other side.

@sluggahjells @BrickCenter_ He wasn't fouled at any stage in this clip. He creates contact twice. Even the first drive to the right, he's not trying to beat the defender. He could've driven past him, but hooks him with his left arm, doesn't get the call, so backs out and tries again.

@StatMotive @BrickCenter_ Why is SGA trying to start a dosey doe out on the floor? First drive to the right he's not even try to beat his player off the dribble. Just trying to hook his arm and get a foul.
