The idea that AI will replace most jobs is not only a lie, but it’s sold to the public by corporate billionaires who are *perpetrating it as an intentional injustice.* It’s less “AI makes xyz job irrelevant” and more “They decided to call us ‘irrelevant’ so they could screw us.”

This video hits home for me—not the disturbing gore stuff thankfully, but the financial exploitation. youtu.be/aooiDA-AsNo

If “optimize” means to make something the best it can be, then does “pessimize” mean to make it the worst?

Judges 15:6 - Samson literally got his lover executed … Good job at accomplishing your goals, buddy 👍 This goes to show: the “reckless possessive” archetype of masculine romance tends to just bring suffering and harm to the very women it aims to “protect.”

A2: Maybe ancient parables like this didn’t always treat the “fourth wall” like we do today. The statement may not diagetically represent the bramble’s mindset, but instead it’s placed in the bramble’s mouth more for dramatic or symbolic emphasis.

Q2: If the bramble represents Abimelech, why in verse 15 does its quotation seem out of character for Abimelech?

Judges 9:7-21 - There’s a few aspects of this story that might seem odd to a modern audience. Possible explanations have recently come to my mind.

Mark 1:15 - This message was so simple because it relied a lot on context, to an audience familiar w. the OT who would soon witness Christ’s other work. In 21st cen. USA I daresay there’s a deficit of context. We must not only build from scratch, but undo wrong impressions first

Romans 12:14-21 - I recently heard certain gov. leaders use the passage right after this (Rom 13) to legitimize their own authority. But Rom 13 was written to subjects, not to authorities… and this adjacent passage destroys their attitude over and over and over. #ReadYourBible

Deuteronomy 18:15 - I wonder who the Israelites thought Moses was referring to. Joshua son of Nun? Samuel? Did they get distracted by fighting Canaan and forget this? I’m sure few expected it to be 1,400 yrs. But he gave no timeline. God’s plan was bigger than anyone knew

I’m still seeing shows/movies—set in modern day or even future—where a pic or recording is treated as instant proof, where IRL I say “Is that AI generated?” I guess AI achieving (occasional) realism is still newer than the typical Hollywood production cycle. It won’t be for long

It’s best for simple tasks or things you want but don’t want enough to actually engineer.

Is it a hot take if I say: Vibe coding is fine but it’s not real coding? The result is not a serious engineering product, it’s a “get thing done fast and sloppy” type of technique. I’ve done it on occasion, but I’d never consider the output reliable or something to be proud of.

I have heard this criticized as “shame-based theology.” That label is not wrong, just incomplete. Atonement converts shame to holiness. Shame is the starting place, not the destination. People who miss this see Christ’s work on the cross as pointless, NSFW nonsense.

Numbers 7 - It’s a mistake to look at this qty of animal sacrifice by ancient ppl as showing a casual attitude toward violence. It was meant to be shocking & difficult to stomach. “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins” Heb 9:22.
