Updated thoughts on the US strikes tonight on Iran after listening to President Trump's speech. It's 4am in London, but I feel an obligation to say this on a night that may launch so many uncertainties for the American future, both domestically and internationally.

Why would Trump bomb Iran? Why? I don't understand, with two other super powers China and Russia to enter on the side of Iran, this is madness. Can anyone help me understand?
