Today was my last day at Microsoft. No matter how exciting the new job is, it's still really emotional to leave a place that's felt like home.

IT just rolled out a mandatory VPN across all iOS devices and I’m debating what to do. The security risks are real, but intercepting all network traffic on my phone/tablet is crossing a new privacy line. If I unenroll it my productivity will tank with no email access. 🧐🤔

Azurite v3.12 includes preview support for Tables! I tried out a few Durable Functions scenarios and they were working great! This is awesome because it means we can finally get *cross-platform local debugging* support for Durable Functions! github.com/Azure/Azurite/…

FaaS is the conflation of 3 attributes:
1. Invisible infrastructure
2. Scale-to-N and scale-to-zero
3. Highly opinionated programming model
Most developers want 1 and 2 regardless of scenario, but 3 can be an awkward fit for many workloads.

The neuroscience of focusing on tough tasks: 1. Set aside a healthy chunk of time. 2. Do that consistently & in the same place. 3. Remove distractions (e.g., email, notifications). 4. Avoid being seduced by doing easy tasks first. 5. Take breaks. nature.com/articles/d4158…

It’s so amazing to be able to have my utility bills on autopay. So many people aren’t there yet and so many more have forgotten where they came from. Never forget hunger and debt. I remember like it was yesterday.
