@Telkhina How is such genetic and scientific evidence ever so changing? I know of my ancestors that brought me into this existence, whom of which are apart of the European race. Society is a racial construct that has allowed us to remind ourselves of what we are, to preserve what we are.

@peterofhellas5 Honestly yes. Only European haplo is C1a C1b, the Aurignacians (people before WHG). Why base your identity on something so fickle so virtual? Especially when you are Greek?

@Telkhina Sounds like quite the fragile foundation. I’ll say it again. Y-DNA consists of ~1% of ones dna. With that logic why not consider central sub-Saharan Africa that carry R1b in high frequencies apart of West Eurasian populations?

@peterofhellas5 My example was about unchanges nature of Y-DNA a serious matter such as racial identity must be based on firm ground. Like Y-DNA

@Telkhina So if I’m understanding correctly, genetic proximity, isn’t possible due to geographic barriers, no west Asians have common origin with Europeans but at the same time no one is actually European because the haplogroups that inhabit it came from outside of Europe?

@Telkhina Who said anything about miscegenation? What exactly are you alluding to? You and I both carry high amounts of ANF ancestry, as does the majority of modern European populations making it a core component of us all. To what significance was the example when discussing one race.

@peterofhellas5 It is the one thing we can't change about ourselves. Think about it. For example if a negro in a white county were mate with a white woman and his sons would keep repeating it they would eventually be in your clusters. Whereas their Y-DNA would remain same

@Telkhina The Ethnogensis coming about outside of geographical Europe but the ancestry that has maintained largely intact till today is something you’re ignorant to simply because of their migrations? Is there some magic soil I can find to change my ancestry?

@peterofhellas5 Whereas we know: Haplogroup IJ originated in somewhere in Caucasus-Upper Mesopotamia-North Iran G, Taurus&Upper Mesopotamia R, Siberia Together with their respective A-DNA (ANF etc.) they cover most of Greek DNA. All OUTSIDE of Europe
