First three mile run in a while this morning. Slow going but it’s a start! Feel pretty good now.

I did a new drawing of I Camisa yesterday, finished today, another little bit of London on my wall.

Soho is one of my favourite parts of London to sketch and just wander about. I spent a lot of time down there in the second half of the 90s, and while it's always changing, and disappearing, it's also still there.

So it looks like I Camisa & Son on Old Compton Street, London, is finally going to close on Aug 3. That's so sad, another bit of old Soho lost. I did sketch it 9 years ago (well half of it) next to another place now gone, Cafe Espana. #london #soho flickr.com/photos/petescu…

It's hot out again now, and getting hotter. Blast this summer weather. I did just see someone on campus wearing a black Eintracht Frankfurt shirt though, that was a surprise. Only 6/10 in the respect scale though, as I've seen another one in Davis before (in white).

A fond, and sad farewell to I Camisa & Son, which will close on August 3. A beautiful Italian deli with excellent sandwiches and fine produce. Trading in Soho since 1929 — an institution. I hope a new location is found. 🇮🇹🥪🍷

I did a lot of drawing this weekend past, took advantage of the cooler weather.

Well done France winning their first medal in the rugby just now, that was fun. Mostly I loved their kit.

Wow…that was a good ending. The torch balloon was very unexpected. And Celine Dion was, I have to say, pretty damn great. Never thought I’d say that, but she really was. Bravo.

Wait is that piano on fire? Wow, that’s unusual.

Time to watch the Paris opening ceremony, I’m looking forward to this, everyone says it’s a bit bonkers.

Another really good formula 1 race today! Glad Piastri got the win, I like him.
