Really have to hand it to Trump, it's almost impossible to spike inflation, mortgage rates, and unemployment simultaneously, but he's managing to get it done. Courses will be taught in business school using Trump as a model for how NOT to run the world's largest economy.

US bond markets are under serious pressure. The 10Y Note Yield is back at 4.40% and the average 30Y Mortgage is up to 6.38%, up for 4-straight weeks. Just days prior to the Iran War, mortgages fell to the 5%'s for the first time since 2022. The bond market needs serious help.

Novinari N1 koji su se infiltrirali na miting naprednjaka u Beogradskoj areni, otkrili su kako se postaje SNS statista, kako taj posao izgleda i ono najvažnije - koliko se to plaća. Za 3.000 dinara, kolika im je bila dnevnica, radili su sve po nalogu takozvanih koordinatora, koji ni slutili nisu da će sve biti dokumentovano. Niko iz vlasti, niti iz vladajuće partije, za sada ne demantuje da se građanima plaća da dođu, ali se čeka potez Agencija za sprečavanje korupcije koja bi trebalo da utvrdi ukupni iznos novca i njegovo poreklo.

it distorts size because the Mercator projection was designed to aid in navigation, and the way it converts a 3D sphere into a 2d rectangle makes it easier to plot rhumb lines. it has nothing to do with making Africa’s look smaller.
