@Petnetio So the machine has a battery backup. In theory it could remain operational if the power were to go out/internet access was lost. However, without feeding times and amounts cached on the machine it really falls short in these rare instances. I see an update opportunity.
@Dman2306@petnetiosupport We tweeted about the issue as soon as we were made aware of it. This issue effected a small portion of the Petnet family. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. At this time you should be operating smoothly.
We have been informed of a Server Maintenance that has taken place on one of our servers. This may cause your SmartFeeder to show red in an offline state, however, your scheduled feeds will dispense. You may get a missed feed notice due to being offline. Stay tuned for updates.
@Dman2306@petnetiosupport We temporarily took the Low Hopper Notification out while we improved the accuracy capabilities of the device by activating load sensors previously dormant. The hopper level setting in the app's Food tab is a secondary place for you to manually keep tabs on your food level.

@petnetiosupport can’t get the manual feeding button to work. I’ve toggled it off/on via the app and tried both a short and long press but nothing happens. Any suggestions?
@coymak If your Petnet SmartFeeder did not automatically reconnect to your router after falling offline, usually a simple power-cycling will do it. If you need further assistance please reach out to our support team: Support@Petnet.io / (855) 738-4650

@petnetiosupport just received the 2nd gen feeder. The app continually fails to set up the device. Using ‘change device’ option within the iOS app to replace my 1st gen device with this one.

@petnetiosupport Is there a problem with petsmart service right now? My petsmart is connected to my wifi but is showing offline in the app. After restarting the feeder it shows online again until I try making a change in the app then it goes offline again.
@kbtang88@petnetiosupport We use Rasberry Pis in the office for various testing purposes, but we have not looked into Hass.io integration. I will pass this along to our software team to see if we can do this.
