@JRBeast713 In everyone's eyes different tasks may be bigger or smaller. We all have to start somewhere. Higher for you beast

@petrifiedcrypto You know this reminds me of something I heard. That we won't complete tasks because they feel to insignificant or small. They're not big enough changes. But thats ironically how you make bigger changes is by completing the smaller ones first. No change is too small. Higher.

Evening thoughts with bricktop day 17 We spend a lot of time worrying about keeping our promises to others. Showing up on time, doing what we say we’ll do, proving we’re reliable. But that got me thinking, do we treat the promises we make to ourselves with the same importance. I'm not talking about something massive like running a marathon next year. Trust isn’t built in those one off grand gestures. It’s built in the small quiet moments when no one is watching. In order to get to those big gestures and create discipline you need to start small, like every great idea. I'm talking about when you complete a task and you said to yourself that you'll take 10 minutes to rest instead of pushing until you burn out. I'm talking about when you promise yourself you'll stop doom scrolling and get that thing done. I'm talking about when you promise to be kinder to yourself for the small mistakes. Now every time you keep a small promise to yourself, you’re telling your mind that you can count on yourself. But every time you break one, even a tiny one, you chip away at that trust until you start believing you’re not someone who shows up for yourself at all. You don’t need to overhaul your whole life. Just pick one small thing you’ve been saying you’ll do and do it. That’s where the change starts. I'd love to know what promise to yourself have you been putting off?

Evening thoughts with bricktop day 16 I was scrolling through the timeline and I came across the upcoming topic for the @CasinoSociety_ podcast. So it made me think and I pay tribute to that for my evening thought. @Vestoriin thank you. Stick with me on this I may go a little deep. Perceptions & Reality is the topic and this is my take. Two people read the exact same words on a page, at the exact same moment, the exact same truth but two people will walk away carrying something entirely different. The words on a page read "it's hard right now". One person reads this and feels defeat, while the other person reads the exact same thing but feels permission to keep going. Crazy right? How one sees a setback and calls it the end of the road whilst the other sees it and calls it the clearest sign of where not to step next. Nothing we encounter comes with its own fixed meaning. The meaning we give it is stitched together from every wound we’ve healed from, every hope we’ve held or every fear we still carry. We don’t just see what’s in front of us, we see ourselves in it. That’s why understanding is never automatic. It’s not that one person is right and the other wrong. It’s that they’re standing in different places, carrying different weights and interpreting a different story. The most powerful shift you can make isn’t changing what’s in front of you. It’s stepping into someone else’s line of sight, or learning to hold your own lens up to the light and clean it. You don’t have to agree with every view to respect it. But you’ll never see the full picture until you stop assuming yours is the only one.

@Vestoriin I appreciate your comments, perception is a really powerful thing. One word can alter someone's brain chemistry significantly. 🙏🏼

Thanks for taking the time to share. The way you described stepping into someone else’s line of sight and cleaning our own lens really landed. That’s the kind of reflection that has the potential to create a considerable shift for readers and listeners. I’m grateful for that reminder. Looking forward to continuing this with you on the Higher Podcast. Have a read what this legend wrote👇🏽

@petrifiedcrypto @CasinoSociety_ @Vestoriin It is a gift too see things through your own lens but still be able to see from someone else's POV. It can open your own mind to see something in a way that you on your own were unable to. You drop some absolute bangers ser. KEEP SENDING IT HIGHER

@petrifiedcrypto @CasinoSociety_ @Vestoriin This is why perspective matters. We all live in the same world, but experience it through different lenses. We need to be more aware of that, practice empathy, and respect the silent battles people carry.

Higher isn't a place. It's a decision. A decision to choose discipline over comfort. Growth over excuses. Purpose over convenience. Make that choice enough times... And one day you'll look back and realize you're no longer chasing higher. You're living it. Send yourself higher.

Evening thoughts with bricktop day 15 Believe me when I say this, your direction matters more than your speed. Think about it, like you're rebuilding an engine. You can rush to bolt every part down, tighten every nut in record time and fire it up for the first time… only to realise you got the timing wrong and your piston smashes straight into your valves. All that speed meant nothing, it just means you’ll have to take the whole thing apart, only if it's still salvageable. What I'm trying to say is many people are rushing things just to put something out that isn't ready, just to prove they were first and inflated their ego, leaving themselves to find out they are going absolutely no where. Don't get me wrong, in some situations going fast does work, but spending a little bit of time with the setup and the direction of something gets the job done right while providing longevity and reliability. It's better to take your time building something that works rather than race to finish something that never will. No crying.

Time. Time is every man’s greatest enemy. Worst thing is. The enemy always wins. I’m yet to see a man out manoeuvre time. Many men that thought themselves immortal. Slain by time. Time in the universe is endless. Your time in it is not. Now let that sober you up.

GM everybody. A new week. New opportunities. New chances to make real changes. All it takes is commitment. Commitment to be better. Commitment to be different. Commitment to keep showing up, even when it's hard. One decision at a time. One day at a time. Send yourself higher.
