The worst trend of modern fandoms (that came from Tumblr) is how it convinced regular teenagers that doing teenager things with fandoms is wrong. Making ships, RPing, developing tastes, creating fancams/memes are considering "weird" but harassing others is not for some reason.

People need to understand characters exist to be used, sexualized, objectified and treated however people want to.
They are quite literally intellectual property designed to fulfill whatever wish we want. They aren't real people.
