Denji is more neutral if anything. He doesn't deliberately seek to harm others unless he believes they are "bad" but his awareness and concern for collateral damage he causes can be inconsistent. Some characters are too complex for this reductive scaling.

He grew up as a homeless starving orphan with inherited debt, medical issues, was forced into slavery by public safety, is still haunted by them, and is trying to put his adopted sister through college without an education of his own to get a better job.

Denji doesn’t care, he can’t get a part time job and it’s simple,quick and easy

@tripandasa The only other moment I can think of that achieves similar is the gun devil being sent to kill Makima, but even then Denji could be tangentially associated with Makima's puppets, and the reason Makima is still on the defensive

it's really so good that this might be the one moment in the manga that does not have denji/chainsawman at front and center. and it turns out to be the beginning of the end. it makes you wonder too just how denji should really be made accountable to this world and its events

@Shyguymask99 gimp was the first photo editor I've used and I found the UI to be fine. I can do everything I want it to, and the plug-in community is a nice bonus. you don't even need to interact with the UI if you just use keybinds anyway

I feel validated that people hate GIMP now. Like 10 years ago in the 2010s everybody would recommend it like it's the best software ever, but when I tried it I found the UI insanely shit & confusing to work with. I quickly went back to paint .net and I still use it to this day.
