@JamesFox917 Noah has a great arm but it's clear that he's not quite ready for an MLB rotation. He's giving it his best, but 5 Ks and 71 pitches in 3 1/3 innings is going to severely tax the pen yet again. His confidence may be shot right now, too. May need a trip to Charlotte to retool...

It should be an interesting start for Noah Schultz tonight. He’s been throwing 6 pitches out of a higher arm slot. He’s clearly out of sorts. I’m curious to see if the arsenal is simplified and the delivery altered. Approaching career high innings total. #WhiteSox

@courtney883 It’s Baseball! EVERY team will have a game or a few games or innings like that. You put that one in the trash, don’t dwell on it, learn from it, forget about it and bounce back tomorrow.

A shocking pitching implosion after they’ve been excellent lately. Still, one setback doesn’t concern me with this team. Plenty of baseball left in this game.

@DaveKerner Davis wasn’t awful tonight. His fifth inning was shaky and Will was hoping that he could get through the sixth. Alvarez hit a rocket to lead off the sixth, Paredes got HBP, and Will should probably pulled the plug on Davis and gone to the pen. It was downhill after that.

Nobody is going to care about the details of the #WhiteSox 9-5 loss to the Astros to start the homestand. It’s Davis Martin faltering in an 8-run Houston 6th as a 5-0 lead got away,and a collapse up there with that horrendous Milwaukee loss in the first weekend of the season. Martin was this team’s ace for the first 2 1/2 months of the season, not now.
