Year 3 have had fun creating moving models. They used balloons or pistons and syringes to create movement, demonstrating that air can create a pushing force.

This afternoon, Year 1 have measured and marked, used the clamp and had their first attempt at sawing a piece of wood! Just look at their amazing concentration🤩!!! They all listened incredibly well and followed the safety rules- well done! 👏🏼

Our map skills are obviously fabulous… we made it to Lidl! We chose and paid for our ingredients to make a healthy snack. Well done Reception! 🛒🍏🍇🍓🥕🫑🍅🥒🫐👛

Reception have continued their map skills this week, helping the beebots to find their way to Lidl. We drew local landmarks for our maps and discussed directions we needed for the instructions. ⭐️👏🏼🗺️🧭🐝🤖 ⬅️➡️🚦

In Year 4, we discussed how our emotions can change throughout the day. We talked about how it is completely normal to experience a range of feelings and how we can sometimes go from feeling happy to sad in a short space of time. The children shared their own experiences with their classmates. We made faces to represent our emotions 😁😔😳😕😃

Year 1 showed a fantastic understanding of their emotions during their PSHE lesson. Despite the crazy rain, we headed outside to collect natural objects to create some wonderful emotion faces! 🌧️🍂😊

Afternoon Nursery have been working on their fine motor skills, pulling and pushing beads on a thread string. This is great for early writing skills, concentration, hand and eye coordination. 👌🤗

Year 5 spent their PSHE lesson in the forest this afternoon. They worked in pairs to make a range of nature faces to show an understanding of different emotions! #mentalhealthweek2026

Ayla has been nominated for an NTLT Star Award and has been selected as a finalist! 🙌🏆🏅 This is recognition for her hard work over the past year and we are so proud! Well done Ayla 🏆🙌

Nursery have been learning about the role of a Farmer! We discussed how Farmers have lots of important jobs including, milking the cows and shearing the sheep! We then had lots of fun, pretending to take on the role! 🐄🐑 Well done everyone 👏🏼☺️

Year 1 have explored different methods of joining materials as part of their DT unit! Amazing effort and concentration! Well done 👏🏼

Reception have planted cabbages, pumpkins, courgettes, peas, carrots and peppers in the raised beds on the yard. We’ve worked so hard to grow them from seed, please don’t walk on them! 🥬🫛🥕🫑 🎃 🪏 🌱 👨‍🌾

Afternoon Nursery have had a fun banana sensory session in relation to our learning “All about monkeys”. First of all they explored the outer banana skin, then peeled the banana skin they sniffed, tasted, mushed, cut and squeezed the bananas!

Year 5 have been spotting patterns using factors and multiples. They have been combining their knowledge of both to find common multiples using a 100 square. 🧮🧮✖️

A fantastic night of football! The Y5 and 6 girls team got off to a great start with two well deserved draws. Some great displays of passing, dribbling and some great goalkeeping too! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Reception have been minibeast detectives in the forest. Super ideas, teamwork and language everyone. Well done! 👏🏽 🔍🪱🐛🪲🐌🐞🕷️

Year 3 have really enjoyed their Ceilidh. They dance better and better each week 💃
