@RBoydBarrett I can't get over Martins sly smirk when Trump called our president,'he'. Martin was well able to stand up for Starmer and the EU but not the Irish president. 😡
Pathetic failure by Martin to challenge Trump justifying his illegal & murderous war. Cringe performance giving Trump the legitimacy of Ireland's national day to boast about his bombing & killing spree, setting the mid east on fire & causing hardship across world
@officialgaa@CrokePark Two super teams who each had periods of dominance.
Great to see 2 CBS schools in the final and fair play tp Col Mhuire for just getting there. A terrific game to grace the day !
@Darrenfrehill@westmeath_gaa Superb football on show from 2 top class teams. Hurling was good too ! Grea to see the schools finals showing the standards that are there but not always viewed . Thanks to Tg4 again !
Just witnessed one of the all time great schools finals. What a game of football between Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar and Tralee CBS. A game that ebbed and flowed and in the end, a one point win for Mullingar who win the Hogan Cup. Epic. Shades of 1995 @westmeath_gaa#GAA
The backdrop in NCP for the Allianz NFL game on Sat evening last with London was different as a circus was in town. Hence the lights of the BIG TOP behind! A unique venue! @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@TheLeftWingBack@kclr96fm
@PRO_Galway_Ball@theror81@Paraic_Fanning The Railway Cups were on Mar 17th for years, then the club finals, and now we have the schools finals. Railway Cup and Club finals have been lamented as leaving the stage and leaving the date. Hard to get the calendar right that suits all!
@theror81@pgahern@Paraic_Fanning My experience is in Croke Park on a cold evening in January on the sideline. There's no gain for clubs to drag finals all the way to mid March.
@jenny_michelle0@MichealMartinTD@POTUS Sorry, you can speak for yourself. You do not speak for the people of Ireland. Whether you like it or not, Michael Martin is the Taoiseach and he does represent us internationally.
@MichealMartinTD@POTUS@MichealMartinTD PLEASE read the below comments… The people of Ireland have had enough of the constant gaslighting and utter contempt you have towards the people of Ireland. Shame on you!
The relationship between the United States and Ireland is deep and enduring.
It will always be special. 🇮🇪🇺🇸☘️
On behalf of Irish people everywhere this St. Patrick’s Day, thank you @POTUS Trump for your generous welcome to the White House.
@tonyleen And what a turn around in the 2nd half from Tralee ! Great forward play from both teams. Great finish to a wonderful game. Fair play to Masita for sponsoring for a long time.
3-6 to 0-9, an impressive Colaiste Mhuire Mullingar lead Tralee CBS at HT in Hogan Cup final at Croke Park. Both attacks on top but a defensive disaster for The Green, committing all the basics of poor back play - being stepped, not tracking runners, diving in. Very poor, and after great recovery concede another avoidable goal just before break...
@Paraic_Fanning There ye go ! What a game of football from BOTH teams ! Schools football and schools hurling is top class stuff. Great to have it in Croke Park and on Tg4 !
@Paraic_Fanning I am SHOCKED that we still have some who view our schools finals as non entities and don't regard them with the respect they deserve. Schools finals deserve RESPECT.
@Paraic_Fanning And guess what... a lad there BLOCKED me! Good man ! We had club finals, well guess what , we have schools finals now. Same passion. Great standard.
@theror81@Paraic_Fanning We have weekend after weekend of adult fixtures. Go and watch the football schools finals and come back and say that we in the GAA are being short changed. Fed up with those who show NO Respect for schools !
@pgahern@Paraic_Fanning With all due respect, the club finals were a staple of most households growing up. Putting another significant adult fixture on today would be massive.
@theror81@Paraic_Fanning There is no VOID at all, watch the football schools final today. The hurling game was miighty stuff. Schopl finals are top class fare and always have been.and deserve.RESPECT.
It’s such a pity the club finals or another big GAA match isn’t on St Patrick’s day anymore .
Was always the best way to enjoy our national holiday before it moved .
St Patrick's Day 2015 when Carlow CBS won the All Ireland B football title playing magnificent free flowing football- and scored terrific scores in both halves. A day that will not be forgotten. @Carlow_GAA@carlowcbs@Natsport@TheLeftWingBack@kclr96fm
A rare sight- 2 Fenagh men playing for 2 different counties and both Murphy's! Liam wearing the green of London scored a crucial late goal. 2nd Pic is another Murphy - Sean jumping with Liam for a high ball in the NFL last Sat! @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@kclr96fm@TheLeftWingBack
I took a ramble this morning to watch Clare v Carlow in a MF challenge. A very good game! Well done to Paul and all the lads! Looking forward to the championship! @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@kclr96fm@TheLeftWingBack
London got the better of Carlow in the Allianz NFL on Sat in NCP. All the lads played their hearts out- it just did not click as well as they hoped on the night. Lee Moore, Conor Doyle, Eoghan Ruth and Colm Hulton @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@kclr96fm@TheLeftWingBack
I met this pair of likeable rogues after the Carlow v London Allianz NFL game on Saturday evening in NCP! Important we are looking forward to the next big game! Thanks for posing lads! @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@kclr96fm@TheLeftWingBack
Thanks to referee and Roscommon man Ian Monaghan and all his excellent officials for refereeing the London v Carlow Allianz NFL game on Sat evening. Thanks for standing for the pics! @Carlow_GAA@Natsport@TheLeftWingBack@kclr96fm
