First installation for the @NERCScience funded @PlymUni netCTF project, deploying a newly developed system at the @BIForUoB FACE field site. Monitoring forest canopy temperatures with thermal IR and RGB cameras. An impressive facility even if it is a long way from the sea!

@SchwarzJill @oceansciencetec @MarineSciPlym I flew 3 different coastal sites in the last few days and once again only the guls near the UoP Marine Station were particularly unhappy to see the drone! At least they stayed out of the survey images 🙂

But apparently... the inland train (heading East) is Intercity Express number 802020 with a livery theme of ‘The nation says thank you’, the special design featuring words of gratitude in 116 different languages used by those living across the GWR network. 🚆😀
