@pgchamberlin @RoshaneSport @JStewart_15 Abraham probably should have been in the squad. Like others a move abroad seems to be costing him int recognition m DCL seems stuck in an Everton team going nowhere. Struggling to stay fit as well. A few years back looked ready to take the step up

I don't consider Mastodon decentralized. More federated. In fact, Mastodon has strengthened my belief in the need for decentralization.

@brianleroux @swardley Well, not without tradeoffs. Adding GraalVM to the build chain is not a trouble free thing to do. It's nice that *technically* you can make Java perform in Lambda, but you'd only want to do it if you had to.

In a series of plot twists nobody could have predicted (aside @swardley ) Java is now showing coldstart performance comparable to Node and Python. Amazing read and work going down at Disney+ using Lambda w Kinesis for *streaming*.
