@DomDiTommaso Well they are practicing it just using other methods. Tackling is about pursuit angles and body leverage. The math test is a cool analogy but it’s apples to oranges. You can practice something by breaking down the fundamentals and then putting it all together when the exam comes

The best tackling teams didn’t tackle in camp. 95% of programs didn’t tackle. We didn’t tackle in college at D1 level. You either have the talent and can do it or u can’t

I don't love Mike McCarthy not having live tackling at training camp. He had a reputation for creating a soft culture in Green Bay, and he's starting to bring that to Pittsburgh. For a team that struggles with tackling, this isn't how you win your first playoff game in a decade.

Mike McCarthy says no more tackling at training camp. I don’t know how a football team gets ready for a season without tackling. Seems like a necessary evil. If Steelers can’t tackle early in season it’s on McCarthy.

Steelers fans telling me the Steelers receiving corps is average or better a BACKUP RB led them in receptions last year and won team MVP - a backup RB! he's no longer on the team they had 1 player in the top-100 in Open Score (ability to get open) they had 1 WR with 35+ receptions receivers caught just 41% of passes thrown 10+ yards (#29) 31% of receptions went to RBs (#2 most) their only new additions who could change things in 2026? Pittman will help underneath & pairs well w Rodgers in that regard but is not enough to vault this unit to an avg unit imo let's not go crazy with what Bernard brings (hope he's great) from a team who has the track record that PIT does of drafting WRs in the top-3 rounds: 2024: Roman Wilson 2022: Hit on Pickens 2020: Chase Claypool 2019: Diontae Johnson 2018: James Washington 2015: Sammie Coates 2014: Dri Archer 2013: Markus Wheaton etc

What should the Pirates do with Tyler Callihan when Oneil Cruz and Konnor Griffin come back if he continues to hit the way he has? My opinion would be to move Horwitz to DH and have O’Hearn at 1B while Callihan continues to play the corner outfield.
