Why is it that pro golfers have such normal iron distances…but such crazy driver and wood distances? Si Woo hits most his irons like a normal dude. I hit my irons a very similar distance. Driver? He’s 50 yards longer. Make it make sense.

@RedWavePress Many of these kids, most of whom won’t go pro probably repeating eighth grade is academically helpful for them. That’s of course, assuming the school is teaching him anything anyway.

@miawfc11 Exactly. Chelsea are a good example that winning alone doesn’t guarantee stronger attendances. Clubs still have to build personality, connection and a reason for casual fans to keep turning up.

If the players are moving, and you miss the instant the ball is played by 100th of a second that changes the outcome. In fact, they’re just guessing when the ball is played.

That was Chelsea men’s 10th on-field red card of the season. To put that in perspective, Chelsea women’s 10th-to-last red card was 14 years ago. It was (I think) Dani Buet against Bristol Academy in September 2012

I’m not a huge Watford supporter, but I am aware of them and kind of wish them well. Back in the mid 2000s they had a player Jay Demerit, that scored in a promotion match versus Leeds. Demerit was a local from my part of the United States (a rarity) is the only reason I even saw the match, but from then on, I followed Watford to a small degree.

@THEChrisKessell Promotion or relegation matches are among the most memorable even in lower leagues. And for the supporters, it’s a lifetime memory honestly, I can’t remember who won the MLS cup last year. Though admittedly, I’m not a huge fan.
