Excited to start as a Founding Data Scientist at @prior_labs working together to revolutionize tabular data science. We are going to push the boundaries of Tabular Foundation Models with TabPFN and change how people approach tabular data. Let's go!

I have a work trip to Europe next week. Work travel to Europe SOUNDS exciting until you remember that the only locations in Europe that have any hi tech industry are the grimmest greyest places imaginable that look like this.

@tkipf I am fully on board prioritizing sleep. But what's the secret to not having sleepless nights ever?

Confession: I never had a single work-related sleepless night or ever pulled an all-nighter during my career incl. PhD. Don’t sacrifice your health. Sleep is a superpower — your brain on 8hrs of sleep is a lot smarter than your brain on sleep deprivation. Don’t listen to people who tell you to chronically sacrifice sleep for work. Sacrificing sleep for your kids/family is a different story.
Sarvesh Gharat@SarveshGharat12

@npparikh I doubt all those things are really possible. Infact I believe, you are not doing a good PhD unless you have sleepless nights. Definitely just working on your thesis is possible if you follow a 9-6 schedule, but a good PhD which involves exploring, colabs, etc needs extra hours

@noahzweben You mean you are nerfing Agent SDK usage via subscription account significantly.

We're launching a huge SDK credit simplification on June 15: * Agent SDK/-p draws from a new bucket instead of your interactive limits (which stay exactly the same) * Every plan comes with $20-$200 of monthly SDK credits * You can use 3P tools like T3/OC with these credits
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs

Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage. The credit covers usage of: - Claude Agent SDK - claude -p - Claude Code GitHub Actions - Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK

A new leap forward for tabular foundation models: TabPFN-3 is now live scaling accuracy, context size, inference performance and capabilities across the board. No tuning required, just load the model, pass your data and get state of the art predictions.

@bcherny @ssarraju This is cute but wont work well enough. Many times I found better deals than Claude researching myself.

I needed to book flights for a bunch of upcoming travel. As always, I used Claude Cowork to do it. In the past, Cowork has been decent at booking flights, but with Opus 4.7, for the first time ever, it 1-shotted it!

@elkelk Anxiety to not be able to board. Sitting in your seat releases a lot of that.

Never understood why boarding a flight early is a “perk” Great, I get to sit for an extra 22 minutes in an uncomfortable seat while we don’t move

I wish Claude Code had a certain amount of jokers each week that allow to reset the five hour usage window. That would spread out the usage also a bit because everyone runs into limits at different times usually. @bcherny @amorriscode

@GergelyOrosz Really? This is dead simple and way better than reading overlapping letters.

Discord's "are you human" captcha went from "a human can solve it immediately" to "sit down and do some work for it." I can do it, but captchas were meant to be dead simple for humans, hard for bots. This is NOT dead simple for humans...

Huge news: @prior_labs has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by @SAP. €1B+ invested over four years to build a globally-leading frontier AI lab for structured data — in Europe, in the open. Independent entity. Same team, same mission, same open models. A massive boost to what we can do. The mission just got accelerated. Founders’ statement: priorlabs.ai/blog-posts/pri… (Deal subject to regulatory approval; terms not disclosed.)

@steveruizok @badlogicgames I am biased because I am in a similar bucket, but imo the highest alpha currently comes from people who have been in tech for a long time, usually born 80s, early 90s, most have 1+ kids. They come with lots of experience, usually high taste, but still very open to new tech.

@amorriscode @bcherny Thanks, apparently it also happens in cli, seems to happen for large changes, if you ask to break it down into smaller chunks it can work.
